I don't speak Spanish
but everyone at my work does, every day they call me "Merry Cone", whatever that means. sometimes it's "Peachy Merry Cone" - I told them i prefer orange flavor and they all laugh with me. I think it's some sort of ice cream they have in Mexico that's not available here. I am just glad that whatever it means, it makes everyone happy and laugh.

They don't have a sense of direction for sure they're always saying " what's up way", like that the way you're supposed to say "which way".. it's kind of endearing though, they're trying

about 90% of my work place speaks Spanish.
I don't except for a few sentences, & of course all the curse words.

I find it amusing that a person who speaks spanish doesn't believe you when you say, I don't speak spanish. They just continue conversing with you, like you're suddenly going to understand them.

If you were around someone who doesn't speak English you wouldn't just stop speaking. It's the natural thing to do.

It's amazing to me that people are so dead set against learning another language. The few foreign countries I've been to most everyone had a decent understanding/ability to speak English. It's a very American thing to think only speaking 1 language is a good thing. ðŸ˜‚
Plus English is one of the harder languages to learn with its ridiculous "rules" that you follow sometimes except the 2,943 times when you don't.
