@brightlights : Honestly, I've never understood the excitement over fancy cupcakes or cake pops, either. I can use my handy muffin tins & cake mix, throw the tins in the oven & voila 2 dozen cupcakes for a few bucks. I was raised by a depression-era father so . . .

bbk : Yes, in Town Center. They're long gone now. The amount of gross icing on those things was ridiculous! Still, I went when my kids wanted to go. ðŸ˜¬

@RajunCajun : Not here! Mine grew up in a No-Whine Zone! You whine? You get nothin' but a short, all-expense paid vacay to La Bedrooma!

My kids never asked for much when they were little. If they wanted a ridiculous cupcake after practice/games or whatever, they had usually earned it. I can make cupcakes or cookies at home (and did plenty of times), too, but no harm in a little fun splurge every now and then. Obviously not for you, I get it...but to each his own!

How long do these cookies last?

@eighteen : The same as any other homemade cookie in an airtight container. Last year, a friend sent us a whole box (I think 8 cookies?) and we actually froze a few of them. Tasted just like the day we got them after thawing.

@brightlights : Bought 4 yesterday. Cut them in quarters. I don't see them being finished today.

I'll freeze them tonight.

Is there a upcoming flavor calendar? I wanted to try the German chocolate one but when I went the line was long and my son was fussy.
