@lynnsgirl : Thanks for the warning. I hope your daughter has a quick recovery from the snake bike. Yes, snakes seem to be everywhere this summer. Yesterday, my neighbor warned me that she had a water moccasin sitting on her front steps. We have the pond behind us on the golf course and I know there's snakes in there. Last night, there were kids fishing around that pond and the Golf course is not taking care of the landscaping around the pond which makes snakes harder to see. I don't know why parents are allowing their kids to take their fishing poles up to fish in that pond or swim in it but they do.

@AMCLady : I guess they are ignorant, or just don't care. Water moccasins are very aggressive and can be deadly also. They will freaking CHASE you.

@Catmae : Wow! Good to know. My neighbor called me and told me that the snake was heading in my direction from her house. I will definitely keep a lookout today as I wanted to go out and water my plants this morning.

Where was she when she was bitten. Must have reached for something in grass. I'm so glad she did suffer with swelling and turning black on hand or arm. Very fortunate to get venom immediately
