Constables Arrest Suspect for Driving While Intoxicated with Multiple Child PassengersOn April 27, 2023, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the McDonald's located in the 6900 block of FM 1960 Road East in reference to a disturbance at the drive-thru. Upon deputies arriving, they located the suspect vehicle driving at a high rate of speed through the parking lot and a traffic stop was conducted. The driver was identified as Donald Williams, who displayed multiple signs of intoxication. Further investigation revealed that he had multiple children in the vehicle, with the youngest being three years old. A series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered at it was determined that he was intoxicated. "Donald Williams was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated with Child Passenger. His bond was set at $2,000.00 out of232nd District Court." - Constable Mark Herman
