My grand-daughter was bullied thru out school....she wasn't a dwarf, does that count?

@shelly1717 : It'swrong no matter how you look at it, but it's not the same. My kids were 4 of the only 6 white kids in their grade school. My youngest was bullied not only by kids but also by a teacher because he had a learning disability. It broke his spirit. He was one of the most popular guys in their high school (also almost all black) though and his older brother was the Homecoming King. You just have to raise your children to be strong and teach them skills to disregard the bullying. It can be done. The worst thing this Mom can do is do what she did in front of him. It just amplified what was going on to him, she should have removed him from the situation and I feel that she did it more for attention. Just like having him model. If he is a current target, you don't push them into the forefront you let them do it when they can handle things.
