Alarm company yard signs

Do y'all have a sign from your alarm company on your front yard? Mine is old and rusty... want to replace it, but I don't want to do free advertising for the alarm company...

I'm thinking about going with this instead...

What do y'all think?

Hell yes I love it. I remember the sign :Insured by Smith&Wesson was popular back in the old days.

CBP/Sandman - Maybe we should just get some signs that read:

Dear SCUMBAGS -
Please leave you gun(s) outside - we don't have any guns inside.

Why would anyone feel the need to chime in on the side of the criminals?

Maybe they have criminal friends or they have criminals in the family or some other reason?

We just want the POS criminals to make their own way and not victimize others.

Anybody stupid enough to break into anyone's home deserves a high speed case of lead poisoning!!!!

One neighborhood in one rural New York community is doing that already. They have signs saying we are a gun free home hoping some criminal would actually believe it. This same group also goes to prominent ant gun newspaper editors home and ask to place these same signs in their yard. Of course they are escorted off.

So if you tell folks you have a gun, that's bad, because they will want to steal it. And if you tell them you don't, then that's bad, because they will think you're easy prey. Guess I'll stick with my little "Welcome to the Cabin" sign.

Keep the old ones up because potential criminals know alarm company names and may think twice....

@sandman Personally, I'm not a fan of those kind of signs. To me, that kind of like open carry by letting everyone know what's inside the house. And if you park outside and people are watching you, they'll know when no one is in the house. Luckily, we park in the garage and if anyone comes in, they are in a bunch of trouble.
