Ladies.

Well our elves came back last night. Momma fell asleep before the kids though so I was up in the middle of the night writing notes and hiding elves. Totally worth it as the brats were super excited this morning.

@TheCatsMeow I think that one was for the men. Well, some of the men anyway.

@DaycareMom No...he's apparently into the guy with the Christmas tree crotch.

My tree came! I have it put together and in it's place by the window but not yet decorated. My plan this year is to decorate slowly a few things at a time with a lot of hand made items. I'm trying to use items that we mostly already have, or items that are purposely ephemeral - paper, candles, greenery from the woods, etc. with the goal being that I don't end up with a lot of bins of "things" at the end which then have to be stored and dealt with.

My dd has been asking for days when he elf will come. Part of me really wants to be mean and say she can't find us since we just moved and be done with it. Then I think of the guilt.So, now I will be spending my day trying to find the stupid thing and hoping for a spark of creativity on where to put the thing and note. I know, I am so full of Christmas spirit.

@okiedokie When we moved back here we were set up in an apt temporarily and stored all our Christmas junk. There was no way I was going to try to find it but the guilt took over and we bought another one, hence the reason I now have 2. Damn elves. One of my daycare moms bought the original one for me. Otherwise I probably would've never even known about this thing.

Well you can tell being that I do have older teens and have never bought one yet I haven't always been thrilled to do it. I always dreaded it with the elf makes a mess for me to clean up etc stuff .. Like I don't have enough to do without having to come up w something for this elf tonight. But this year I am wanting to! Maybe it's cause the wee one just turned 5 and she's the last and I'm wanting to just enjoy it while I can....

@DaycareMom I'm sooooooo sure 😆 I now just borrow babies and get to return them! 5 C-Sections have broken me!

@Tuckersmom Oh lord! I had two C's and I know for sure my belly will never be the same. (Well probably if I exercised but I'm too lazy to do that)

@DaycareMom I know the feeling lol a lot of exercise Or get the number to a great plastic surgeon 😂
