Hope they find who did this!

This is beyond evil. How very frightening. Praise God they got out.

The family says over the weekend a man came to their door in the middle of the night asking for a ride and for help. They called 911, and a short time later someone came to the back of their house and started a fire.A neighbor's surveillance camera captured huge flames shooting from the back of the home as a propane tank went off after 6 a.m. Earlier in the morning, the man accused of starting the fire can be seen walking right by the camera, although the video is blurry.The family says they managed to put the fire out, but it must have rekindled and became a roaring blaze hours later.Anyone with information is asked to call the Harris County Fire Marshal Office at 281-436-8000.www.khou.com/story/n ews/local/neighborho od/2015/11/30/humble -area-house-fir

that is scary, glad the family got out alive... and now it is an arson... wow there are some crazy people out there... I hope they catch the arsonist....

FYI, A couple Eagle Springs residents on FB are saying they got early morning door knocks today. Considering this fire is in the adjacent neighborhood to ES, be extra cautious if someone comes knocking early morning. He might not be done.

@AtascaGuy : Did the neighbor give the video to law enforcement? Not to go off the subject, but that is really a nice camera. Do you know any information about what kind it is?

@FNULNU1954 :Yes, they shared the video with the police and fire dept.Not sure of what kind of camera, but I can ask them....

@B12Fan We posted the video at the request of the Carr family (who suffered the fire). Our hope is that our home surveillance footage helps out validity to their testimony once they catch the person who was evil enough to do something like this.

That's a given, but DH is a former investigator with HCFMO, and in order to prove a case they need credible information and proof... Your video should be very helpful, and thank you for giving it to them. Can you share information on the camera system? Very good quality video feed. Again, thanks for sharing info with law enforcement!!

Guys I saw it on the way to soccer and one side was way worse than the others

All I know is that they blocked the road so that know one could get out of the cold a sack and the family was ok
