Stay in the second from the left or fast-lane. The fast lane always slams on the breaks from Beltway 8 to Little York for some reason. Once you get downtown get in the left lane until you get under 288 then shoot over to the right to exit. Heading back by 3:30 should be fine....anything later and you'll hit the bottleneck Downtown again.

@mw3538 and @Sandman - had to laugh yesterday. Around 4:20 I'm driving down 1960 thinking whoa...where's all this traffic coming from - doesn't anyone work anymore? Then thought of your earlier posts.
