Thanks for the info Posterguy but I did my research on deceptive trade, lemon law and all that stuff so we will see. I don't want to get all nasty just yet. And yes, they gave me a rental, they aren't refusing to fix it but they are taking it apart, and to me its now lost its new car image because its been taken apart because they can't find out what is wrong with it. So they aren't just down right telling me you are SOL. Its been there for 7 days so now I'm getting cranky.

Sometimes things happen. I think it is unfortunate that they did not disclose prior sale, but I do not think the law requires that- That is a problem.A car previously purchased and returned is not "new" but used. Regarding your repair the dealer will have to handle that and if the car is properly repaired and works as it should you should be ok.- This is a big if.Ask them for repair history on vehicle since it was previously owned.

It wouldn't hurt to ask for the carfax. If they won't provide one can you look it up yourself with the vin#?

We will see, I went today and we talked with the general sales manager and he appears to want to meet us. If not I'm calling their mommas! But from talking with them and our salesman which he already knows what I want, so I think they will make a solution. I just wanted to know if we were wrong for not asking for a carfax On a new car.
