I hate the fact that it is too hot to spend the days outside after June. Give them off April to June!

@BusyMommy I say we go year around with school.
It's better for the kids' education and you get TONS of week or two week breaks throughout the entire year!But this is 'murica and we don't believe in changing the way it has been

I became a mother at a very young age, and also became a grandmother at a very young age as well (was still in my 30's). All these "end of school year" posts make remember those days in my life, that I thought would never end. But end they did. I can't advise you guys to "appreciate" this time of your life, but I can tell you it doesn't last forever. Just take LOTS and LOTS of pictures, just in case you don't have a forum like this to remind you of these days.

I don't mind the end of year stuff, but watching a pre-teen go crazy about finals is just too much for me, lol.

@BusyMommy Just think, one day, your pre-teen will be having the same issues with their pre-teen! (I am hearing ALL about it now from my middle child, lol)

Last week of school! Wasn't sure how my ds would adjust in middle school but he did amazing! My baby will be a 7th grader.
