You are correct. I've passed a kidney stone and I have had lithotripsy also for another.
Lithotripsy is a wonderful discovery.

I've had a cervical cone biopsy, it was not painful in that way. The laparoscopy site (lower abdominal, above the pubic bone) was painful for a few days. But as far as internal pain, it wasn't bad and I was up and back to work in short order.

I had one prior to my hysterectomy. The doctor did it on the spot at my appointment...I cramped for about an hour and it hurt a little but nothing major.
