I'll add that the only grocery store in my town is Amish owned, no power and all of their religious tenants followed. Might they say - we won't sell to women wearing shorts and makeup?

This is all such a waste of time. Why even pass a bill like this? Who can even tell always if someone is gay or not? My brother's wedding cake had two traditionally male names on it ( his wife was female but had a masculine name).

There are so many more important things to spend time on. Two thumbs way down, Indiana. Loser move.

Ugh. Would it burden any of you to actually go read the legislation? A Muslim would not be able to refuse service to a Christian for just simply being a Christian, nor does this law make it legal for someone to deny an apartment to someone because they are homosexual. This law is to protect those that don't want to participate in what they view as immoral acts, such as the bakery owner that was sued for refusing to bake a cake for a homosexual civil union, lost her business, and was forced to attend sensitivity training. Why is discrimination wrong, until it comes to discriminating against heterosexual conservative Christians?
By the way, anyone using this law to deny services to someone due to their religious beliefs has to be able to prove their burden in court.

@nikkiole I'd just go to another business if someone refuses to serve me.

After listening to the two sides, and reading up on it, I'm good with it. If it goes against someone's religious beliefs, they shouldn't be forced to do it, unless it is damaging to a person's health. The "offended" party can go somewhere else and get their cake, photos etc.

@nikkiole And a business owner shouldn't have the government telling him who he or she has to serve if it goes against his or her religious beliefs. If they want to turn away business, they can.

And I can't for the life of me figure out why you'd want to shop somewhere where they don't want you to shop. If you're insisting, then it's just about you trying to make a point and offend THEM.

The pansy is the person who can't handle dealing with someone different from them. That's a pansy. And some other words I can't say here.
