Went to that place first in 1990. Nothing has changed since, except for the switch to flat screen TV s behind the bar.

I probably did about the same time. Used to think of it as my secret place.Even introduced it to several New Orleans natives. Loved the old days when it was just a hole in the wall now you have to wait on curb forever when it is normal eating hours.Going to French Quarter festival two weeks from now and will eat there at least once.

@lana7018 Yes, they said they are made with wine. Every time I go by they are busy so I haven't stopped to chat but maybe I will make it over soon so I can taste them. The most sick I have ever been was after a night of drinking in Louisiana. I learned not to drink the house specialty!
