Harris County leaders urge Texans to check if voter registration

I'm definitely on the list I received a jury summons 3 weeks after we moved. I went online to notify officials that I no longer lived in Harris County. The website informed me that I would not be able to vote if I proceeded to claim that I no longer lived there. Fine by me. I was relieved to not have to do jury duty. The thought of trying to figure out how to get there (on time), where to park, etc. terrified me. I greatly admire those of you who deal with going downtown. I absolutely couldn't hang with it. I'm a small town girl.
