Atascocita Driver Arrested After Alleged 30-Mile Pursuit from West Lake Houston ParkwayA traffic stop on West Lake Houston Parkway led to a pursuit and arrest, according to Constable Mark Herman's Office. Precinct 4 officials said deputies initiated a traffic stop on July 24th, 2026, in the 19000 block of West Lake Houston Parkway. The driver allegedly refused to stop and led deputies on a pursuit that lasted more than 30 miles.Deputies safely brought the pursuit to an end, and the driver was taken into custody without further incident, according to Precinct 4. The suspect was identified as Quincy Thorne. He was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on a charge of Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle. His bond was set at $20,000 out of the 184th District Court.An arrest and charge are allegations, and the case will proceed through the legal process.
