There was something I wanted to bring to People attention there was recently 2 Guys that Escaped Atascocita Young guys 19 Or So I have been looking on new outlets social media new media see if they have at least told the public and for some reason i go to look again today and i still haven't seen these guys pictures go up we have kids grand daughters sister brothers mothers aunt even if they aint a danger to society Which they is now because they are escapes it's been Almost A Month since they have escaped my question is why haven't Atascocita Sheriff's Or Harris county sheriff's or fox 26 news Or channel 11 news or channel 13 news Or channel 2 news haven't spoke on this #IJustfeltLikeCommunityShouldKnowThis

I got my source from the Two fellas they told me Atascocita boot camp correct me if im wrong But I know this is to be true they are on the run one of the guy was suppose to be released in oct and got in trouble and was goin to do some hard time

From the description, it's a voluntary residential treatment facility without guards, it's not jail. So, not sure what else there is.

At the moment, doesn't sound like an actual escape. Someone walking away from their treatment program and putting their probation in jeopardy.

Not really. I used to know a guy that worked there. Even he had a little trouble explaining it.

There also was a boot camp back there but idk if it's still there. My friend's brother went in the late 90s.

@MrsT : They agree for diversion or probation, it literally says they can't be held there and it's not jail. That doesn't mean there aren't consequences for walking away.

I see it no differently than someone skipping their ordered methadone treatment or orders psychiatric appointment.

Also, boot camps were eliminated in Harris County over 20 years ago.

I got problems with methadone anyway, but that's another topic.

@MrsT : Because you can also be ordered to take yourself to the clinic instead as diversion. Skipping treatment results in the same possibility of the jail felony.
