I think their profits took a hammering due to some of the crazy specials they were offering, like the Endless Shrimp for $20.

Last year I went to Red lobster just craving for that coconut shrimp. They didn't have any. And they haven't had any since. They're coconut shrimp with my favorite. How can you run a restaurant like that?

I haven't been to red lobsters in probably 10 years but every time I pass the one in humble on 59 it's always packed.

Yep we've bought them a couple of times, they were pretty good. Even less reasons to go to the restaurant for us now.. 😆

I've been waiting for this moment for years. Sadly, it will be chapter 11 and they'll probably stick around. The biscuits are good but hardly a reason to keep this over-hyped, over-priced, low-quality relic alive. Ok, I'm done!

@Stu9675 : The trick is to have some melted butter mixed with garlic powder on standby. When the biscuits are done, take them out of the oven and brush the tops generously with the butter mixture while they're still hot. It soaks into the biscuits immediately and gives a nice crispness to the tops. They're actually better than RL's!

Good riddance, I say! Might as well raid the Sisco truck! 😂The last time I went there in 1996 (with coworkers), I had a chicken caesar salad, which almost immediately gave me food poisoning (right when I got back to work...I'll spare you the details...you're welcome). 😬

You know…how I feel. 🤢No seafood for me.

I love the coconut shrimp at OutBack. They sub it for the broiled shrimp for me and it is a huge plate. I take home half. I loved it at Red Lobster, too.

I've had red lobster maybe twice in my life. It was only because the folks I was with wanted to go. The first time I was expecting a lobster place to be really fancy. The thought of $$$ kept me away in my 20s. Of course i was disappointed to see it was a regular restaurant . The food was ok but well below my inflated expectations. The second time many years later was OK. Nothing that get my excited to go there again. never did. Oh well, another boarded up building next to Joes Crab Shack.
