Just in time for the holidays!
Seventeen local charities received 24 grants of nearly $85,000 from the Lake Houston Rotary Club Foundation earlier this month at a luncheon held at Humble ISD's James Eggers Instructional Support Center in Kingwood. Rotary raised the money through its annual golf tournament and Corvette raffle drawing. Rotarians are all volunteers. They meet most Wednesdays for lunch at the Lake Houston Family YMCA.
