@DaycareMom : I don't know where you are at with your father, but the last year or so with my father, I was ready to see him go and he was ready to go. It's so heartbreaking to see your parent just go from bad to worse. At first, I felt some guilt for wanting him to pass away, but as time went by, I realized what a mercy that would be for him. He was a proud strong man most of his life, and the man he was towards the end was not at all representative of who he really was. I do feel for you and hope that you and he find peace in the near future.
