@mastiffrex : Sometimes people have those toenails (fungal) because they have other underlying health problems other than the fungal problem. I am glad that those are not your toenails. If they were, a visit to the doctor (if an antifungal did not work & that would definitely take persistence in application & time) might be merited. I refuse to even joke about something like that because it could happen to anyone (even though many people never think it will happen to them). I know someone who actually developed a fungal infection which was on his skin (no involvement on the nails) on his backside. It took a trip to the doctor. The doctor gave him oral antibiotics for the particular fungal infection he had and it cleared it up thankfully. (A couple of words of advice: Change out your washcloth and wash towel every single night! Don't think that you are saving energy by not running the washing machine. Do not risk getting a fungal infection because of an old reused towel and/or washcloth! No, I am absolutely NOT joking)!!! An infection, fungal-based or otherwise, is no laughing matter. If you lost that weight, I am proud of you. If you did not and are trying to do so, I am proud of you because you are trying!
