Cost me $98 per year no increase cost on items

@ParksideRes :
I know you asked Lynn, but yea, that's unlimited. Instacart has the same thing, $100 for 12 mths, only requirement to both is a $35 minimum, and WM does NOT increase prices, Instacart does, with HEB its like 20% (depending) and Kroger is around 12-15%. If I need a delivery, I use Instacart cause you can get same day delivery, and I just do NOT like WM, just a personal thing.
I've researched both as we've done the Instacart thing for my mom the last cpl yrs, and I've done it too, but changed several mths ago to Kroger curbside.

@lynnsgirl : I agree with meats and produce, but for staples, incidentals, etc., they're pretty good! I like how they now have the substitutions on the app now so you can approve/deny before your order is ready vs. dealing with it at pick-up/delivery.

I haven't been in an actual Wal-Mart store in like 9-10 years, but for this, pretty good!

and I just do NOT like WM,

@cador : I don't either, but for stuff like TP, paper towels, personal hygiene items, cleaning products, OTC meds, cat/dog food, canned goods, frozen items, etc., I'm not paying fees or markups from the other services when I need pickup or delivery. I only buy the name brands we use on the above (don't like that Great Value shniz), so no skin off my back. Otherwise, I just go shopping at HEB.

@lynnsgirl : Do you tip the delivery driver, or is that rolled into the $98 fee?

@Sammee :
You still should tip, I give them $10 normally, unless it's a larger order.

I'm really slow at trying new things. Haven't tried grocery delivery. It is good to know these little things before I try it. I would most likely tip, but I'll wait and see what is said here. And what percent or how do you decide 🤔.

Amazon does a lot of the same stuff and most are next day I get more from Amazon vs the others and yes some have taken longer because of covid but for the most part it is cheaper

I finally got my mom to use the delivery a cpl yrs ago (she's in a personal care home now), but I've gotta a good buddy that can't get his mom to use it and comes in from Cypress to Atascocita every Weds to shop for her, then we go drinking after and I get to hear him ***** about having to shop, he's SO frigging funny explaining how he gets in trouble for getting the incorrect brand of milk, or the 8 oz of cheese instead of the 12 oz, or they were out of something so it's his fault, and ruins her whole mth, it's so frigging funny, he's hilarious as he hates shopping almost as much as I do.
I love it, cause I can never find anything at the store, but on the computer, you search for it, blam, there it is, put in your basket, no stressed out Karens to deal with rushing around like the worlds going to end in a few minutes, ramming your basket, blocking the aisles, cutting in front of you, giving you that look when it takes you an extra 27 seconds at the CC machine, I'm all over the online ordering.
The negative about online, you can't get those Kabobs at HEB (they are good) with delivery, or curbside, that I have found.
