It just depends on their pain threshold . I had two of my wisdom teeth yanked out and I had no issues whatsoever. I just had to make sure the clot didn't fall out. I never touched my Tylenol 4 at all. Just make sure that she does not eat anything crunchy, buy a lot of pudding and Jell-O.

@Arctic513 : Yes pudding and jello are good too. All healing should be well under way by the 3rd day too. Best of luck. She will be fine.

Let the fun begin! She will be out of surgery soon. I hope my questions get some funny responses. I am going to ask her all about going to Taylor Swift's house for dinner. She is a HUGE Taylor fan. If she's kissed anyone. Which celebrity she wants to kiss...$50 says it'll be Chris Hemsworth as Thor..lol. Where's her car because it wasn't in the garage, she doesn't have a car...I haven't decided if I'll choose her all-time favorite Lamborghini or if I'll go with the Corvette. She'll be getting her learner's permit soon, so I'll throw in something about that. Does anybody have any other ideas?

@blueyes : I got ice cream for eating and shakes, applesauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, yogurt, pudding, and Jell-O. It'll be a sugar fest in my house! I have some protein shakes to sneak in the milkshakes😈.

@Sammee : NO straws for the milkshakes (or anything that requires a sucking action, even popsicles, etc.). Quickest way to get dry socket.Hope she does well. One of mine had an oral surgery in preparation for her braces several years ago. She was so sad and confused when she was coming out of anesthesia (not like her at all), she couldn't stop weeping. I didn't have the heart to mess with her! Everyone's different coming out of anesthesia (me? Apparently, I start swearing like a sailor. 😂).

@brightlights : According to someone that's when you're back to normal

All went well. She was totally goofy afterwards and has been all smiles the entire time. She kept telling me, "I'm really lucid! I'm so surprised!" She was absolutely Not lucid. She didn't fall for any of my shenanigans. Everything I tried, Taylor Swift's dinner party, where'd she park her Lamborghini, etc., wasn't believed. She'd give it some thought for a few seconds and come to the realization that I was jacking with her. Once we got home, she thought the dog had three eyes . It has been overall an entertaining experience for me. Her anesthesia will be wearing off soon and she will be hurting. I don't want my baby to be in pain...they did give her a few Norco. She's already had a milkshake, Jello and pudding. Yum! Now it's a Friends marathon.

@Sammee : Sedated kids.........Dd had IV sedation and didn't remember talking to the doctor or eating mashed potatoes and gravy. When she got up from a nap, she asked for potatoes. I asked if she wanted more gravy, too .... she had that foggy look -- like I was crazy. She continued arguing that she HAD NOT EATEN ANYTHING since her fast started.
