So from what I understand, Seeds aren't alive, but have the genetic information needed to create life. So effectively, a seed is a womb, but not the unborn spawn. It has to be given the right things to be activated.
I guess it makes sense especially considering this is why we don't classify a virus as a living thing. Its just a piece of genetic material.
Sooo yeah a seed is just an egg. Whats inside it can be alive. And even then it has to be developed to a certain point to be "alive". Cool!
