Yep, I wouldn't be out very long. I was in Kroger for 10 minutes, almost passed out. I can't understand why they would not at least have their A/C running for us.

The type of fabric matters. 100% cotton is cooler.

I have felt the same way,, I think what's happening is that we're breathing in our own carbon dioxide at first... Drop your mask down for a few good breaths of oxygen and pull it back up.. It's a hassle at first but you will be safe for another visit to the store another day .. 👉🏻😷

I kind of have to pace my breathing and breath thru the nose. It takes some getting used to.
I have many masks with different thicknesses. I know if it is slightly challenging to breath, it is safer, but you need to be comfortable in it.
At least it makes me hurry thru the store faster!

Honestly if it lowers immunity why are we still forced, if it causes a loss of cautiousness why still, and why are people so obsessed with it now they drive with it. One driver crashed his car wearing it cause he lost cautiousness. I think it's silly to wear alone in car, I can understand if it's for the person with you but alone with one on why? I get maybe to used to but still. Also why are we now killing and refusing to serve over it?

@Ld1ncloud2 :
Not sure what you mean by "lowering immunity"..and "killing"..., but the point of the mask is to lower risk for everyone, it is very effective and one of the simple things we can all do to help out and do our part.
I only wear mine when I go into a store around others.

@texas2011 : yes, these cotton masks are NOT for the wearers safety, it's about catching your own filth for everyone else's sake.
And I've had 0 issues wearing one, little warm but not horrible. The CO2 does not build up in the mask. If it was, it's sealed and you're not getting any outside air. It's a myth you're getting enough to do harm.

@Ld1ncloud2 : what kind of mask is it? If it is not an N95 mask then it's just a fashion statement and it's not protecting you from the Chinese wuhan. Nor is it preventing you from spreading it.

@Yep : cloth does dramatically lower spread. It catches a majority of your own crap. It does offer little protection to yourself. That's why most everyone should wear one.

@ParksideRes : not according to Dr Fauci
"Fauci: …There's no reason to be walking around with a mask. When you're in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet, but it's not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is. And, often, there are unintended consequences - people keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face."

@Yep : correct, it's not protection for yourself. It's protection for others. There is no need to wear it walking down the street or in the parking lot. But in a store or office, it absolutely makes a difference.

Fauci's statement was early in and now we know a lot more than we did then about it's spread and the large number of people showing no symptoms carrying it.

@texas2011 : If you have respiratory problems it can make it very difficult. Hope you're ok.

If you care about other people you will wear a mask. It is like when your mother told you to cover your mouth when you sneeze. Like when your friends or wife tell you to say it not spray it.

Now if you are one of those people that doesn't cover your mouth when you sneeze or cares less about spraying people when you talk loud then you have no worries.

Funny story I wore a mask in a store, a non mask person stood very close to me. I pulled down my mask and faced him and started breathing very heavily letting him feel my breath. He moved. I learned even non mask wearers don't want you breathing on them. Go figure. 🤷‍♂️

@Ld1ncloud2 : Where are you wearing it this long? Don't do it if you can't breathe, please at least get some fresh oxygen here and there.
