Hope everyone enjoyed some donuts this morning! Their Boudin Kolaches are the best! I miss eating them Wow, it's not even 9am.

We went this morning and the line was almost all the way to the end of that building. I thought "Wow, that's good for them". We parked on the other side and walked inside. Turns out that line was to Starbucks 😢 Really? Wait for 40-50 min for a coffee drink?

@TXNS_fan The people in the Starbuck's line should've gotten some donuts while they waited for that overpriced coffee!!

I was thinking, with all these places opening up again, they need to throw out some coupons either in the local paper or online. I always go to places where I can use a coupon.

@AMCLady : Or throw in a free delivery with 5 miles or so. I hate paying delivery fees, one of the reasons I don't shop H-E-B curbside.

@eighteen : Ha! I woke up wide awake at 4:30 after going to bed at 2. Storm kept me up after that.

Went here a few days after reading this. Feeling good for supporting a small business. Nice and clean. The items I bought were tasty. Nobody else there so social distancing not a problem. The lady who served me did not say hello. Did not smile. Didn't really look at me. Barely said thank you. Decided before I left the building if she couldn't spare a smile, she wasn't appreciative of my business.

If you are hurting for business, the least you can do is recognize your customer and show a bit of appreciation with something that cost absolutely nothing .... A smile.

@SnoopSister : I wonder if people have thought that about me in the past when I was barely holding it together during a difficult time and simply trying not to cry. Sometimes just showing up is all you can muster. Maybe cut her some slack considering the stress and worries we know about let alone the ones we don't know about.

@carol888 : Girl, I get you!!! I use the term "the hood" for every neighborhood and I mean no harm just as I'm sure you didn't mean any. It's just a saying I use so some people need to just overlook it.

@Sammiejo : In the last two years I've either witnessed personally or heard of the following within two miles of my house.1) Perp 1 and Perp 2 driving down Will Clayton road raging on each other. One loses control of vehicle and Perp 2 squeezes off a few poorly aimed shots while I evacuate the LifeTime Pool area with my 3 small children less than fifty feet from the incident.2) "I'm from Atascocita and I'm a real gangsta, what's poppin?"3) Perp 1 and Perp 2 leave a house party in the Dirty South to go rob an old lady's house when Perp 1 backs out and gets shot in the drainage ditch by Perp 2.4) The "atascocita gangsta, what's poppin" and other person playing with a gun in a garage and other person gets "accidentally" shot5) Auburn University recruit home for spring break attends a pickup football game with Perp 1 and neighborhood scholars, **** talking ensues, and Perp 1 jogs down the field with his running weapon and fatally shoots Auburn recruit.People who are unwilling to see the trend in our neighborhood are willfully ignorant.
