I had dinner at El Jalapeno last night.

El pollo Loco
refried beans
Mexican rice

I've eaten at La Casa. Nice laid back atmosphere. Tomorrow they are having a porkapaloosa special. Ribs, butt, and belly on the bbq. Can't wait.

Ribs, Baked Potatoes, & slaw tonight. Tomorrow Homemade Deep Dish (recipe is Chicago's original & best ) I'm thankful for some great friends that gave this up to me. I may make a Lemon Meringue pie too.

@chasinghosts : Either one of those sound pretty yummy. Is the Barbeque place open? That might be good for the kid and me.

@chasinghosts : I've never been impressed with Tin Roof. I like the other one (can't think of the name) but their veggies are always too cool for me for ones that should be hot. Last time I order fried okra and they forgot about it but delivered it just before we were finished. I still had a bit of it though. It is the best thing there.

chasinghosts : I've never been impressed with Tin Roof. I like the other one (can't think of the name) but their veggies are always too cool for me for ones that should be hot. Last time I order fried okra and they forgot about it but delivered it just before we were finished. I still had a bit of it though. It is the best thing there.

@ladybeachbum : Spring Creek? They have great green beans. Their BBQ is ok, I usually go to Tin Roof because I know pretty much everyone there. Mine is better though, especially the ribs.
