Thank you! I saw so many husband wife teams and moms with multiple kids. Grocery shopping should be a solitary event not a family outing. Come on!

You would think this could be an unspoken common sense thing lol Nope.

I do not think my daughter has taken the 3 year old since the shelves have been empty. It was a Saturday morning ritual and now she says he would ask to many questions and doesn't want him scared or upset.

@West-Tex : She is working from home so she can go at different times, he is going to daycare for now.

The interior of businesses should not be open. Infection spreads too easily. Just yesterday I read about a case which was solved with security cameras. An infected person visited a church, and several hours later another person sat in the same seat and the virus was transmitted that way. It lives on surfaces for hours and is airborne.

I usually go alone and tell my DW to stay home and let me deal with this issue.

So, I guess people are still uneducated about how contagious this virus is?
The governor of Georgia said he just learned that someone with no symptoms can spread the virus. How could he miss that major fact??
I've noticed those who think mainstream media is biased seem to be the last to know the facts.

That governor is a bit behind the game to say the least and no excuses for it...but it would be interesting to know how this would have played out if the media simply reported the facts with no hype, bias, and/or agenda. I think it's understandable that people don't trust the media as readily as they have in the past.

DH67 does all of our shopping. It's become a ritual that when he gets back I sanitize every item as I take them out of the bags. Yes, I even sanitize the bags, lol. Then the whole kitchen gets a Clorox bath. I feel insane while I'm doing it but if we get the virus, it won't be because we didn't try not to. We have sanitizer outside of our home and no one is allowed to come in before using it. I sanitize the door knobs regularly. I sanitize the vehicles doors inside and out every time it leaves the house, the steering wheel , gear shift window knobs, radio knobs, seatbelts, etc. The mail box and mail get sprayed with Clorox bleach, making it very soggy, lol. I'm going nuts!!!🤪🤪🤪

@carol888 : When we see the lines we don't go in. Today we went together so we could get things quickly. The lines at Kroger took longer than normal. We do qualify for the early hours, but we thought we could go in and out quickly. We are good for awhile. Sometimes you can't cover everything. I will say talking on this board has helped, I think all of us.

Change in policy to allow no kids in the store forthcoming?orChange in policy to allow only one person in the store at a time?I would be fine with either practice at this point.

I can't believe adult people need to be told to not bring children into the stores during these times. Leave their little butts home. We try to keep our trips to the minimum and only 1 person goes.

The "media" I watch presents the information we need with no agenda.
And I watch daily at 5:30pm or use the app because it's my civic responsibility to know what is going on around the world. I don't have cable so I never watch any of the 24 hour news channels.
I'm seeing so many people on social media continue to bash the media. Perhaps they need to find a middle ground station that they trust. Not CNN or FOX. It only takes 30 minutes a day.
