Media wants this pandemic to turn bad soooo fast. Anything they can use to throw turds. Kinda reminds me when Hurricane Katrina turned a third of New Orleans into Houstonians and it was Bush's fault.

Why fuss over people making fun of his communications. They typically have little factual or reality basis, so if not for entertainment value, he may as well hide in his closet (or on the golf course)

@redneckroy : High profile people need down time. Sometimes that can involve the golf course. I didn't begrudge Obama when he played a round every now and then.

The virus is affecting supply chain and travel, stocks impacted accordingly. It's going to get here eventually, probably fairly widespread. Not trumps fault, but his false communications are. The cdc has asked to not be referenced in certain communications that are false or misleading as they dont want to "own" it.

@WeveBecomeEastHouston : Good heavens you're sounding like Rush Limbaugh. I don't think the media is wishing for a pandemic so 45 will look bad. Everything is not a freaking conspiracy to get him. In fact this virus isn't about him at all. Because I'd wager a large segment of the population isn't looking to him for answers because his credibility is just about nil.Secondly, those who work in media are not immune from viruses and a large majority of them I'm sure have spouses and children. So I doubt very seriously they're keeping their fingers crossed hoping the virus spreads like wildfire so that their families and themselves could be subject to possible death. I mean really dude?

@rocket : Many aren't immune from recession either. But they sound an awful lot like they're praying for one. The irony is they may actually get it, and in an election year no doubt. But as you stated, Coronavirus isn't Trumps fault. That won't stop the media from trying to make political hay out of it, but no objective person could blame a virus panic driven market on a president.
