Before I really tell Comcast how I feel..

I've been battling with them the last month on how they screwed me on my bill when I re-signed up with them. So we came to a mutual agreement and a monthly charge I was happy with. So I get my first bill and I see I'm being charged for Netflix. Anyone know if this is common or did I inadvertently sign up? I mean I don't remember doing so.. you think I would! I just want some feedback from fellow comcast users before I rip someone poor guy from India a new ****** and end up without cable. TIA!

We use Netflix , and I've never seen it listed separately on the bill. But I think we sign in with my son's Netflix account.

I'm guessing you or one of the kids accidentally signed up through the Comcast app on the cable box. I'm sure they make it extra easy for this to happen. If you have your own Netflix account this means you're paying twice.

I thought I heard that Comcast teamed up with Netflix and it is in their service now. That being said I haven't looked at my bill. I probably should since I pay for a Netflix account.

@daddyo9 : Ahhhh they are sneaky little bastards.. comcast, not my kids! I know exactly what happened.. the bf has a Netflix acct and we watched it under his acct on my TV not too long ago. It must've started charging me then even though he already has an acct he pays for. Wow.. you think they would have a way to detect that!!

I have a Netflix account and xFinity. You can now access Netflix (and Amazon Prime movies) directly via xFinity. If you have a Netflix account, you sign in through xFinity and there is no charge.

I hate Comcast, if I could get fast Internet from someone else I would. I cut them off in March of 2015 and so happy I did. It's such a BS that you have to haggle to get a "good" deal with them and they still sneak in a fee on you.
I only have Internet with them and last year they added a "free" Xfinity TV on the go. The only free thing I got is an app to watch it. It was $8/month to stream TV, which was OK because I could set the record with the and I could watch on the go meaning anywhere. Then they removed the recording feature and you could stream only when you're connected to WiFi. Well, how is it on the go?!

I have been with Comcast/xFinity for 3 years and have no complaints at all.

After being with Suddenlink for many years, Comcast has been a great experience.

I'm switching from Comcast, which I've had for seven years, to AT&T U-verse fiber. The sales department is giving me a modem, router, and four boxes for free. No monthly charge at all. 300Mbps upload and download unlimited data. 500+ channels for $125. I tried to renegotiating with Comcast and they pretty much said no way

Two months ago I called to have a signal re-boot which I need every now and then. No biggy. But this time I got a $70 service charge and a $7.99 charge for a movie I was supposed to have watched. I called them and told them to get the $70 fee off my bill as a signal re-boot is free and I did not need any technicians to come to my home. I also told them that I don't need to watch their pay per view movies because I watch movies for free at AMC. Emoticon Well, low and behold, the charges were on my credit card because they did not remove the charges as promised. Soooo, I called the loyalty department because I have been with Xfinity forever and they fixed the problem. So don't trust anyone you talk to in billing. They won't or can't help you.
