Easy: Mr. Pibb is a copy of Dr. Pepper from the Yankee lands (non-Texas parts of the United States). Dr. Pepper is the real deal, invented in the 1880's in Waco, Texas.

We don't drink Mr. Pibb here... it's not welcome... even if it's on sale...

First time I ever saw Mr Pibb was in Great Lakes Naval base for bootcamp (a long long time ago, in a galaxy far far away)

Now, if you want to talk about Barq's... Started in Biloxi (Ihink) but they always say New Orleans

No one wants to talk about Barqs! Dr Pepper is the end all be all of soda's. Especially if it's the ones in the glass bottles with cane sugar - oh my!
