Boy did we go.... I got the catfish poboy, the wife had the scallops. There was a conversation about how good the burrito was.......so we ordered it to take home for dinner, plus an oyster poboy. Love this place..the staff is great. We met Angie's daughter who cooks . Angie oversees the Waller restaurant but is here three times a week to check on things. Beer and wine license is pending but the wife said the lemonade was great.Ps. Ate half the burrito for dinner , the rest will go to work tomorrow as lunch.

We went last night. I really wanted to give it the great reviews everyone else did, but....It was average at best. Overpriced. Service was slow. Waited too long to get food and wayyyy to long to get drink refilled. I can get better food just about anywhere else. We had quesadilla plate and 2 fish 5 shrimp 5 oysters. Will possibly go back for a call in to go order but not for a sit down meal. Workers were nice. She apologized about the wait and said this was the busiest they had ever been.

@TheBoz: Sorry to hear about that as well. We were just there for our second visit, and the lady was telling us about how busy they were last night... We've been at off times so they haven't been as busy. We both got the fish tacos this time. They were good, but DH said he could've eaten a third one. (The order had 2.)

@TheBoz We agree with every single thing you have said . And when we walked in there were 2 couples & one was almost finished eating . Same here we waited & waited & they didn't come to give a refill till we were ready to leave & had no need at that point . The 2 women were nice as they could be .I also had the quesadilla plate & thought it was awful . There was almost no chicken inside of it & just mostly a bunch of slimy cheese & wasn't even hot when given to us . Husband had seafood & not impressed . They never brought out chips & dip like Mexican restaurants do . I doubt we will go back . I agree I wanted to also give it a great review & can't .

Finally checked this place out. I agree with @TheBoz, I wanted to love this place but it just didn't happen. The food was decent but no wouldnt' go out of my way to go back. We got home and I still had to cook dinner I will stick to my ol' faithful Alma Latina in Porter. Amazing mexican food and great seafood selection.

Dang, I think we will need to try them out, that's just round the bend from us. Is it a family place? Not too rowdy for kids? I think I had always thought it was more of a bar.
