Good points all around with regards to taxing and trickle down. I just was pointing out how the county was going to pay for it. I think something should be done but I would like to see it done with private funding. Most major cities tax rental cars. Houston built 3 sport venues with rental car tax. This tax only applies to vehicles rented at the airport so for the most part locals are spared the burden

Maybe the rodeo will be able to move the carnival inside there and avoid having to shut it down every time it starts lightning!

Perhaps it could at least be power washed and covered in snow me awesome wraps prior to the Super Bowl coming to town.
