There were 3 children injured total...One of them was from broken glass. They were all 3 taken to the hospital. Their injuries were not life-threatening.

The little one had to get surgery bless his little heart. I hope they find who ever hurt them. Innocent children should never be hurt. This world is getting worser by the day.

Praying for the children. Lord, please watch over them ....praying for a speedy and complete recovery. Just thinking about the medical bills and lifeflight bill freaks me out. 🙏🙏

I'm glad I'm not raising children today & I feel sorry for everyone that is . There are so many dangers now to worry about .

I was upset with ABC13 this morning. They reported the two young bothers were in the yard playing soccer while UNSUPERVISED. So, the parents are to blame for the kids being struck by gang-related gunfire in the hood?Is it just me or are all the wrong people taking the heat for the current state of dysfunction?

Wtf? An 11 year old is old enough to keep an eye on a 6 year old in the front yard! Balme the parents of the thugs, not these parents!

Ok, you do realize that was my point, right? Kids should be able to play outside. I was mad that ABC13 added the unsupervised part. They made it sound like the young kids parents were to blame. NO! the thugs were to blame!

Parents being outside would not have stopped this from happening. The oldest is old enough to supervise...Heck, I was babysitting at 11.

This is just so sad that now no parent will want to let there child play outside and I sure wouldn't either. Prayers for the families in that area.

@ladybeachbum I don't let mine in the front yard unsupervised, not because I think there is a danger (they are far from the street and within earshot and we life in a safe neighborhood) but because I am afraid CPS will be called on me! The world has changed.
