Of course I support my hometown team the University of Texas Longhorns! My grandfather earned his degree there and worked there in the electrical engineering department, my mother graduated from the Journslism school, my father has worked at the Blanton Museum for over a decade. And I hold my degree from there too. Too many other friends, cousins and family members to list. We bleed orange on both sides of the family for sure.

Spent 1 and 1/2 years at Tech but finished at U of H. Spent 15 years in Houston Alumni association including time as president of Bauer Alumni.
Also have 12 tickets(already taken) for UofH vs OU(wifes, daughter and other outlaws favorite). I'm driving to the game, so may come home alone.Not gona happen she says.

Well, I've been about as wishy-washy as you can get. Grew up a big Boomer Sooner and followed them until my early 20s. I did kind of adopt the Michigan Wolverines when I lived in Michigan for several years. But upon moving to Washington in the late 80s, and going to school there post-Navy, I became a Washington Husky fan (WOOF!), and that's pretty much where I'm at now.My son is at UH, so I will follow them at a distance. In part because they are intriguing as a team on the rise from relative non-descriptness and also as the UH is really undergoing a major turnaround the past few years, both academically and athletically.

The University of Texas is my team. Looking forward to attending one game in Austin this year with my son!
