Deerbrook Mall isn't as bad as it used to be. If you go to AMC, I recommend that you go on Sundays or during the weekdays. It is not as crowded and the guests are just regular people with families. I have worked there for 20 yrs., and I have seen the changes.

@FNULNU1954 Well fortunately I am not fearful of these types so I would not use the Fearbrook mall but I can see why people can be reluctant to go.

When it's just DH and I going to see a movie, we always go to the Edwards 23 next to IKEA. There is a Pump It Up right across from the movie theater, and every other Friday night, they have a Parents Night Out deal, and on Groupon, for $23, you can get a pass for 2 kids to go (ages 5 and up), which includes all the jumping they can do, pizza for dinner, and arts and crafts. It's from 6pm-10pm. It's a really good deal!We went to see Bad Moms, and DH must have been one of maybe 4 guys in the theater. We both really liked it and laughed a lot. It's getting pretty bad reviews, but you know what? I never pay attention to that. Also, that JJ is a pretty good actor. There is nothing that guy can't do.
