Harris County Precinct 4 Constables: First and foremost: Thank you for your service.
The Department serves the citizens of North Harris County, Texas which is one of the fastest growing areas in the nation. - that includes Atascocita! See map below for the magnitude of their patrol area. For those that can't read a map, Precinct 4 is depicted in RED.
The operational structure of the Department consists of several Divisions and Specialty Units that perform a wide variety of law enforcement and civil functions including patrol, regulatory enforcement, computer crimes investigation, special investigative services, writs, and warrant service.
Recent crimes that have recently been solved include - arresting a pervert/pedophile. Guess where he was? In a park restroom waiting on youngsters. So If I see a constable in a park - THANK YOU - perhaps your presence has kept some weirdo away from our children; or kept a druggy from making an exchange in our neighborhood. Park away; and next time I see you, I'll try to bring you a cold drink.
And praise the Lord for this good news: After a 10-month recovery, Harris County Precinct 4 Sergeant Jeremy Talbert will return to full duty after recovering from injuries suffered when a suspected impaired driver struck him while on a traffic stop on Aug., 23, 2015. That's right folks - one of our constables has been in recovery for nearly a year - due to an "impaired" druggie out on the road.
Our contract deputies duties are 70/30: This is not an extra job. It is a regular patrol position assigned to the specifically to the contract. The deputy will spend at least 70% of his time within the contract with an allowance for the remaining 30% to be spent as needed to support operations.
The majority of the nearly 400 deputies employed by the Precinct 4 Constable's Office are contract deputies working in our neighborhoods which includes the ROADS we drive on. - SEE MAP....
