@Blackhorse77 They did look so good. I'm glad I had just eaten ice cream or I would have made a trip into town. I wish they would get us a Krispy Kreme so I could eat all I want and then be over it!

We were just talking about that today in the car. Wishing we had Krispy Kreme around here.

@hutch5801 Sadly, no. I am now eating something coconut that I bought from Costco. I didn't factor in no one else in the family eats coconut. They were really good when I just had the one but after about 3 of them I start to wonder why I bought them. They are weird, kind of like a cookie muffin.

@TXNS_fan :Oh im so sorry..sounds like your trip was a little rough.We had one like that a couple years ago..headed out for 7 days at Rayburn. Day out RV broke down in Dayton. Took us until midnight the next night to get there. We went ahead and went because we had a non refundable boat and jet ski rental..the only sun we had was the day we didnt have the boat, and we used that day to drive back to the Woodlands for a football session for DS lol

Tour the Governor's Mansion. The building and furniture are incredibly beautiful. Texas has one of the oldest governor's mansion still in use, I believe it's the second oldest west of the Mississippi.

Speaking of donuts - my new favorite is Sublime Donuts - strawberries n cream. Real fresh sliced strawberries n cream in the donut.

@Lace our trip didn't completely suck. Weather didn't cooperate but It was OK. I don't know if we'd enjoy more if it was hot and sunny. Going through the Capitol was cool and worth the stop. We wanted to check out the UT clock tower but it got really hot and humid so we just drove home.
