Ya this guy had 2 16 yr old girls in his truck playing with the radio and traffic was stoped and he was flying and ran right it to the back of a truck a chain reaction 5 cars

My heart just sank, I don't know if this website is a good thing for me. My teen is out driving with his friends! He answered thankfully not him but I'm sad for the teens in the accident.

Unfortunately he will only be responsible for the vehicle he hit in front of him. It will be against each who hit the vehicle in front of them and so on. That's why police should be called but insurance companies don't care. The very front vehicle will be considered not at fault. We knew someone in a similar situation and that's how they handled it. Not fair at all.

Unfortunately No they do not .

was in a 5 car once. The car in front of me hit the car in front of them. I slammed and stopped, the car behind me hit me and pushed me into car in front, the car behind the car that hit me, hit the car behind me I was the only one not ticketed.

Same thing happened to us on the 1960 overpass over the train tracks in Humble by Panchos. We didn't get a ticket, either.

The main reason to always leave space in front of you while driving.At stops, I always leave myself enough room to see the tires touching the ground in front of me. Good rule of thumb.

Yep....seems as if it's a forgotten part of driving now, with everyone driving 6" from the bumper of the person in front of them.
