He you looked at the second link you would have seen that both referenced the SAME interview he conducted with Chris Matthews on the subject.Besides that the larger is you said no one would use nuclear weapons and indicated that's only for the movies. Trump doesn't agree with you.

@rocket As for moral character, no, I am not referring to her relationship with Bill and his affair. I am referring to Filegate, Travelgate, Whitewater, Email server, Rose Law Firm, etc., etc. While I realize that no wrong doing has yet been proven, I also believe where there is smoke, there is fire. If there had only been one incident, I could buy that she was just a victim of circumstances. Maybe I could buy it if there were just two events. But there is one after another after another. Some may argue that it is a "political witch hunt". For the email scandal, maybe. It remains to be seen. But the others I mentioned were from when she was First Lady of Arkansas and First Lady of the U.S. What is the political agenda there? To get Bill to divorce her? She, at least in theory, had no power in these positions - other than having the ear of the POTUS. So what is the political rational for a witch hunt at that time?As for the politics, yes, there is SUPPOSED to be deal making - give and take. That is politics. And of course there are back room deals, with Hillary, Trump, Ryan, Pelosi, etc. You are correct.My biggest concern, and my biggest objection to Hillary, based upon her track record, is transparency and putting the country first. In these highly unsettled times, I believe that we need to have a POTUS that people have an unwavering trust in. And that trust is developed by being completely transparent. I believe that Hillary has shown that this will not be the case in her administration. With her refusal to turn over ALL of the emails to a competent, secure reviewer says to me that she only will allow us to see what she wants us to see. That is not transparency. That does not create trust.

@rocket Just re-read your post and I want to post one other thought.With regard to "The Button" - Other countries have nuclear weapons, just as we do. And we are in a fragile stalemate because our possession of nuclear weapons, on some level and to some degree, provides a deterrent to other countries. They won't use their nukes because they do not want us to use ours.If you are not willing to use the weapons, and the other countries KNOW that you will not use them, then the deterrent effect is gone. If you are not willing to strike back, at least equal to equal, punch for punch, there is no deterrent effect. Just as in the school yard growing up, the guys who were picked on and disrespected were those who were known to not fight back or were not good at fighting. Having a weapon that you are not willing to use, is like not having the weapon at all. Many times international politics are the same as a game of high stakes poker. Sometimes a really good bluff is as good as, or better than, a really good hand. Read some of the stories that have been written about Reagan and his "Star Wars" program. The program was never even viable, but his constant threat of it scared the Russians to death. Without a big stack of chips to put in the pot, or a nuclear weapon or other weapon system you are believed to be willing to deploy, bluffing just does not work. JMO

@niceguy I understand your trepidation about Clinton. As I already indicated I'm not a fan. However apparently we're only going to have two choices for president, either her or Trump. In regards to Trump the highest ranking Republican, Paul Ryan cannot currently endorse him. Two former Republican Presidents will not endorse him. The last GOP presidential nominee will not endorse him. This is unprecedented in party politics. Therefore for me the choice is obvious.In regard to our nuclear forces you're really off the mark regarding my statements. Nowhere did I say our nuclear weapons should never be used under any circumstances. I simply stated I didn't trust Trump to be in charge of those forces.
