I know people like to be able to smoke and drink at the same time, so I imagine there will be more people outside. It's hard to say if they will lose/gain people in even proportions. Sadly the outside has way less fun and ambiance than the inside. It's mostly, you know, sitting in the Whataburger parking lot. Maybe they can fix it up a little more and then everyone can be happy together.

They are going to lose customers. Too many regulars that smoke.

They should take a poll.

This was a major fear in my hometown when they banned smoking in the late 90s. At first business went down but it didn't take long before the non-smokers came out and started to enjoy those establishments. I'm sure many regulars may indeed go, but new regulars will be entering soon.

Is it that difficult to make it through an hour or two out without having a cigarette? Or is the cigarette part of the bar "experience?"

I am perfectly fine with a business owner making this decision for his own establishment...Just not the government....that is where liberty is trampled on.

Smoking at the same time as drinking is a pleasant experience for many. Where I run into issues is when I'm eating. And the thing is that TOT has REALLY good food but there have been times I felt like eating there but went elsewhere because it was not a good day for me to be around smoke (I have asthma)

I'll try them after the nonsmoking. I would have to have a few drinks before going to sit in a smoke filled room or very interesting company. In my younger days, I would have a cig if someone else was smoking. That being I have probably smoked no more than 15 cigs ever and now allergies would kick in unless I was outside with them.
