He's still out. The next court date is 8/9/16. It hasn't gone to trial yet.

I'm thinking it was last summer my DH & I were coming back to Atas from kingwood .I started a thread about a kid on a crotch rocket . I think he had a red jacket on perhaps not summer ??? At any rate I didn't have enough time to get from my car to where he was at a red light because I think I was about the 4th car behind this little a hole . He was acting like a crazy person weaving in & out & looking back at all of us to see if we were looking . Putting his feet up on the handle bars at times hands off the bike . He did stuff I never dreamed could even be done on a bike .I started a thread on here hopeful of reaching his parents so I could tell them what he was doing . I really believed this kid was going to KILL HISSELF & my heart was going out to his parents in an effort to save him . I don't know if this is the same kid or not but I sure do wonder if it is .

@DemApples I'm curious why someone, using what appears to be a throwaway account, would resurrect this thread (late at night) on a holiday weekend with inaccurate information?

@KPalm And you'd be right to be curious! Allow me to try and explain myself.
I was a bit close to the accident for personal reasons, so when I saw this thread, and read how the rider had been behaving after the wreck, (suing the family, posting pictures of his bike online saying RIP, getting another bike) it pushed me to pursue the story further. The information I gave above was given to me by a trusted friend (egg on my face, huh) who used to be quite close to the riders family when the boy was in school.
I am genuinely sorry to not only you all, but to the families of those involved. I should've known better than to share something without any official source, I suppose the false news was so believable to me I didn't stop to question it.

This reminds me of How to catch a snitch, give them inaccurate info and see where it goes.
