This is not just 1 HOA it is a bunch, & Mud's also . I don't blame our Muds for not wanting to take over the Constable contract & think they were very wise to say no !

@bbk you have been misinformed - AtascaVeteran has nothing to do with the contracts but he does understand them so with that fact he DOES know what he's talking about. Don't put words in my mouth!!! I never said we weren't cheated! The problem was found, the problems was handled and a solution was agreed upon. As for seeing the officers in our area, yes I see them several times during any given week. I have been up in the wee hours of the night and looked out my front window out of boredom and saw an officer slowly cruising by, yes. So they're out there. Do I stand outside my house 24/7 and watch for them, no, do I stand at my window 24/7 and watch for them, no! Unlike some people, I have a life. The constables office gives a monthly report to the HOA board listing all the crimes/calls, what street it happened on, the numbers of tickets written in what areas etc. Such negative ppl.

@AtascaVeteran You & I have had many conversations before about the constables & the meeting down town that was a huge push for all sorts of stuff , You PM'd me & said If you'd like to call me to talk about Atascocita security cell phone 409- ###-#### that was Aug 1, 2013 . I also have printed out our conversations on this subject .

@AtascaVeteran :You do know a lot of information for someone who is not directly involved in any way with the security contracts in our area.Who holds and signs the constable contract for the Atascocita contract?

For the record, Atasca Woods Board has placed a notice about this security descrpency in hours on their web site letting their members know something is being done about it. ACIA's website is still telling us how to take care of our lawns in January and February.

I believe it is the Atasca Woods HOA that currently hold the contract and has held it for the last 6 or 7 years... before that the OAKS I believe...

That explains why Atasca Woods see constables all the time in their subdivision.

My husband was on the ACIA board as a member & as president till he resigned . He was over security for 1 yr & saw to it that the complete report was in our news letter . Got phone calls non stop about our constables parked at the Overlook parking lot to which he'd go & explain they are on private property & the road leading to it is also private property so you need to be patrolling our subdivision . So don't tell me I don;t understand . We would drive around several nights a week & I can't tell you how many times we'd see 2 cars side by side at 1 of our parks visiting . Of course they's say they were doing their reports . SIDE BY SIDE ? BOTH AT THE SAME TIME ? So he has nothing to do with the contracts ? That's fine , I 'll have to spend time finding all the stuff I copied & see why I think he does . But that won't be today I have better things planned I have to get ready for .

@bbk please don't spend your time looking for those copies for anyone but yourself. As I'm not interested - I have the ability to see the current contract which is all I'm interested in. Thanks!

@Sammiejo I am interested for myself , I want to see exactly what was said that made me think that he took care of the contracts . I have the news articles on the meeting down town Houston & also the reports on the subdivisions ( around us) & ACIA because my husband always kept track of where the crime was taking place as he was the trustee responsible for our security & gave the security report each month . No way did he want an officer off the street to spend their time giving a report .

Well, here is another way to look at it. If you always see the constable on January Drive every day then every other street is not seeing a constable.If the constable is always at the pool in Atasca Woods getting speeders and stop signs runners, then all those other subdivisions you mentioned that is in your contract are not seeing a constable. If two officers are always on duty it would be impossible to cover the Oaks, the Trails, Kingwood Glen, the South and Atasca Woods and have good coverage where a lot of people are seeing them patrol.Perhaps your contract has more than two deputies on duty at a time slot. Squeaky wheel gets the grease and contract holder is the one they listen to. Sorry to bring you into reality check.

@JustSayn : you are correct on several points! there are more than 2 officers and the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Other HOA's have chosen NOT to be the contract holder so someone had to step up!!! PS No reality check needed!
