Maybe. The cost for them will bring good neighbors. I really will miss the owners. We were just talking this afternoon and I told them they couldn't leave.

MrsHB : I had a neighbor like that in The Groves. Guy would hang out on the porch all day smoking weed. A lot of activity was going on there. Like, no one has that many friends. We suspected that he was dealing. We felt quite uneasy. And his house cost a lot more than ours. I guess if you're dealing you can afford a nice house. sigh.

I didn't see that in the first house on but again we had neighbors that all of us moved in around the same time. I still keep up with them, at least, the ones that are still alive. I will really miss our neighbors that are building more country I think. I was just last night saying they can't go. I just can't wrap my thoughts that we are a bad area.

I have semi new on one side and they are good. Across the street they are having a garage sale and I went over to chat. They are great neighbors. This street is just blessed!

The 1960 expansion hasn't particularly helped this area...hate seeing those concrete walls up by Kings Parkway...hoping that eventually Trees /Landscaping may be put in .The old Cales Carwash is definitely an eyesore along with the Country kitchen place by Taco Flores....

Where would you go? Before marriage I lived in Dallas and loved it but I have been back and that place is so different now but I have family there. Since it is just my son and me now it will be staying here since he now owns his Dad's business.

ladybeachbum : Probably back to the Frisco 'burbs. Close enough to the city without being in the city! I'll make the decision after DD and my future SIL figure out which direction they end up going.

I think my God daughter and family lives in Frisco but it has been a long time since I made the trip. I lived in Dallas for many years until I married and ended here. The last time probably 3 years or more everything was crazy but I still know enough to get out of the way!
