This is Korean new year tradition. On the New Year's Eve you put rice and coins to each sock (12 of them representing each month) for wealth and prosperity. My mom knitted the socks, I'm supposed to change the rice and coins after each year but I keep forgetting. We have some money and we have food and a roof over our heads, obviously it works

@TexanFan1 they're supposed to be your babies' **** but we didn't have 24 good cute baby socks (I do have only 1 child). My mom has the original baby socks, she knitted and mailed these ones for me.
