Luckysis : I'm hoping for more centrism among the newly elected officials, namely Talarico and Governor Hinajosa. They both seem focused on education, which I hope can be rectified. Abbott said he was getting rid of STAAR, but added multiple tests throughout the year in addition to STAAR. Bullying his way into passing legislation that takes money from public schools. 12yrs was too long in that position. I'd also like to see the Governor's position have term limits.

I agree with you 100%, though. If we can't be bipartisan, nothing will change. Our newly elected Senator seems to be that. Time will tell, though. Remember, I didn't vote last election, because people had lost their minds. I truly hope we can move on from the last 6yrs.
