#msg2208435eighteen : She's a devil worshiper. She's probably giving him the credit.

Catmae : Then they should have placed her in a mental hospital at some point over the last 31 years. Prisons don't do **** to "rehabilitate" anyone. This didn't really make me feel differently...we are all God's children at the core. She needed salvation, not to stew in prison rendering her illness to fester.

WTH is Gypsy Rose walking around wreaking havoc on society? She killed her own mother!

(And yes, hospitals/medical caregivers are only permitted to keep you alive, not kill you.)

This specific case is highly disturbing on so many levels.

I mean you would think that if you are getting the death penalty you would need to sign an DNR just incase....weird.

They screwed up and didn't put it the vein instead into her body that's why her arm hurt so badly and the body had time to digest it .

Christa Pike's attorneys said she has pneumonia, a blood clot, couldn't swallow, and is unable to move her arms or hands once she regained consciousness in a Tennessee hospital, days after the death row inmate survived a botched execution by the state.
"Her hands looked like if you were to blow up a surgical glove," said one of Pike's attorneys, Randy Spivey, at a Wednesday news conference. "It was extraordinary."

I can find some kind of sympathy for a 50 year old woman paying for the sins of her 18 year old self. For better or worse, I believe she would not have received the same sentence if tried today.

#msg2208374against their medical oath

ParksideRes : They need to hire a guy who is fine with giving abortions. Not against their medical oath.

Fiona : Interesting thought. I'm guessing the laws are different with judicial executions? Idk why...it's just a couple of signatures, but I believe DNR orders are needed for the inmates with organic fatal/serious illnesses.
