@MrsT : Being ordered to clinics on your own?It's been around for a long long time. Alcohol, drugs, etc. You can be sentenced to treatment provided by yourself or through a government program.

Just wondering where it says that Harris County/the state will require you to go to a methadone clinic. I couldn't find the info anywhere so I was hoping you could save me some clicks. 😂My daughter's grandfather died of a methadone overdose. I also have experience with someone taking suboxone, I hate that ****.

@MrsT : If that is required as part of your treatment, you can be sentenced to go to a treatment clinic. Methadone was just an example.People are given choices and it's on you to complete it.College friend of mine ran into alcohol trouble and was ordered by the court to seek treatment. They had to check in every few months with provider input and find their own treatment.Yes, a court can order you to treatment and it's all up to you.
