some people have spent too much time in Austin #msg2186667
you keep repeating he's the Commander-in-Chief. He is. Since he's one that's never served in the Armed Forces, he shouldn't salute the flag. #msg2186659
@Andi7, you're not stating facts at all and I'm not stating my opinion, it's a Federal Code. You are clearly stating your opinion as you've said admitted in your last sentence. You're entitled to it. However, that doesn't mean my statement is incorrect or "just an opinion", simply because you don't agree with it.
@Andi7, cute. Where does it mention a civilian saluting? Where's the new proclamation stating otherwise? uscode.house.gov/vie w.xhtml?req=granulei d:USC-prelim-title4- section10&num=0 Honestly, who ******* cares. I see people disrespecting the flag everywhere I go, and watch people cheering that **** on. I've already said your entitled to your opinion. What more do you want from me? Here's the thing, this "hippie" has already served my Country, under a Commander-in-Chief who actually served in the Military, so what I find acceptable and respectful is going to be very different than those who haven't done ****, but sit there drapped in a flag, waving their rights claiming how much they love America and yada, yada, yada. It's all talk just to pretend you're better than the person across the street. You're not, and neither am I. No one is and definitely not this POTUS.Gray boxed for being political and/or controversial in a General Chat discussion.
