The light blue was stopped and was not applied to the entire surface. But regardless of what you believe, the contract award to trumps pool guy was illegal and unethical. A small thing that mirrors the admin. Prolly enough to get another impeached,Again 600+% over budget and much longer than planned.Should have never been POTUS involvement, but donny can't help himself with shiny things.This is not where the POTUS should be.

@redneckroy : The light blue is a primer and it had to be used for the entire surface in order for the dark blue top coat to stick. 🤦🏻‍♀️ What is wrong with getting all of DC cleaned up and beautified again? So what if it went over the original budget. The leaking water was costly and needed to be stopped. This POTUS is having a lot done to get our capital and so much more to represent us as a nation. My perspective is that this is being done for all of us Americans and it's better than everything looking like a big dumpster.

Don't come at me.....I don't understand why folks worry about "****" they CAN'T change! I'm feeling the economy badly; however, the color of this pool will not fix my address at #$$%%%^% street!

What you appear not to appreciate is, this man doesn't have an altruistic bone in his body. He's not doing any of this for us. He's doing this for himself. As such, he wants to place his personal stamp on everything he possibly can. I wouldn't be surprised if he wants to rename this project the Donald Trump Reflecting Pool. There will come a time that damn near everything he's attempting to put his name on today will be stripped away tomorrow. As history will not be kind to him.

I understand where you're coming from. And yes, the vast majority of stuff we discuss isn't worth a damn in regards to improving our personal circumstances. I think the attraction to this forum is just seeing how other people think. But beyond that, nothing we say here will be remembered outside our bedroom community.

When are Magas going to realize that the Trump presidency was never about them? It was always only about TRUMP himself.
He shows us that every day in every way. They just refuse to acknowledge it.

@lynnsgirl : That's the goal. For Republicans to push thru their anti-government Project2025 agenda, they want USA citizens exhausted and bitter and hating it all, who don't care enough to vote.
If people care and get out and vote, they can't destroy the government the way they want to.
Please don't give up. There WILL be candidates who actually care about our daily lives and our pocketbooks. We just have to elect them.
